Maxibasket
Maxibasket Donne Milano is a project born almost as a joke in February 2018, which immediately met with unexpected success, and from which a real senior women’s basketball team was born. The team aims to allow former female basketball players, aged between 40 and 58, to train continuously, play games and participate in national and international level tournaments with teams of the same age. The team trains once a week under the guidance of two experienced coaches: a head coach and an athletic trainer. The colours of the uniform, red and white, recall the colours of Milan’s coat of arms. The athletes actively participate in the Donne al Quadrato financial education courses to fully embrace the spirit of the Foundation: DONNE AL QUADRATO.

Season 22/23
We report on the matches of the 2022/2023 season of Maxibasket Donne Milano, a season at the top, which ended in Murcia with victory in the 7th Mambasket Master Maxibasket international tournament.
Season 2022
In 2022 there was no shortage of successes, with the Maxibasket Donne’s victory in the final of the Carnival Tournament in Milan, where they took first place!
MaxiBasket Donne on 1 July in Malaga came second in Europe, made us proud and returned to Italy with the silver medal around their necks.
Season 21/22
For the 21/22 football season Global Thinking Foundation became Main Sponsor of the Maxibasket Donne, a team we have been following ardently since the 19/20 season! Maxibasket Donne achieved international success: they came fourth in the Over40Basket tournament – held in Valencia, Spain, on 18 and 19 September 2021 – they also won the silver award for the over-50 team! We experienced the greatest satisfaction with them in Zaragoza, where they achieved first place in an international tournament: OVER40BASKET ZARAGOZA ‘21!
