Founded in 1806 by Ferdinand III of Bourbon who transformed the Palermo Academy of Studies into a University, granting it the power to award degrees in Theology, Medicine, Law and Philosophy. With over 40,000 members, it is one of Italy’s 11 mega universities.
With the Taranto detachment, we collaborated on the first Master’s Degree Course with credits’ Gender violence: forms of prevention and contrast’ together with Scuola Universitaria Superiore di Pisa Sant’Anna, held in 2022.
Since 2021, on the other hand, with the Department of Psychological Educational Sciences, Exercise and Training (SPPEFF) of Palermo we have collaborated on Study Grants for the Project ‘Addictions: NO, Thanks!’ With the outcome also of a Palermo University Press publication on the Project.
